Im working on a conversion and I need some help finding a bit that will fit in, my modeling skills leave a LOT to be desired so would prefer finding a bit to use
Im looking for a hammer(Blacksmith like), big enough to be used by orion or the avatar and look reasonable size wise. Any pictures you could find of toys/bits which would have something useable would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you could help those of us who don't know and tell us who "Orion" and "the Avatar" are?

so, something that would LOOK like a blacksmith hammer in the scale you need.. or a blacksmith hammer that this conversion is using as a regular hammer..
Does it need to look High Tech or Low?

The problem with this is you're probably going to be looking at 52mm miniatures companies to find something suitable. (Think GW Inquisitor scale.) The problem is I don't think any of these small companies do bits and 52mm models tend to be expensive. (As they are, obviously, large.) If you weren't focused on it looking like a blacksmith hammer OR you were willing to do a little sculpting/converting I'd recommend going to the Privateer Press online store and looking at the hammers they have for a couple of 'jacks, (Hammersmith pops to mind,) or the Khador Demolition Korp. MIGHT work although I'm not positive. The poles are long enough, but the hammer heads might be a little small.

Its for the avatar model but i need it to be a tad more low tech like a dwarven blacksmith type hammer with some gems but nothing to ornate i didnt even think to look into inquisitor size models ill take a look into that end. Ill also take a look into privateer press tonight hopefully find some good stuff in there thanks

Ok, so here's a REAL blacksmith's hammer in a miniature scale. This might be a bit too simple for you.

Same with this.

Ya i guess those are a bit plain; a better discription i guess would be something akin to dwarf weapons ornate but simple,

Unfortunately that's going to be a problem regardless of what company you go with. Pretty much no small companies do bits. (And most of the 54mm companies are very small.) And the majority of people who buy 54mm sculpts do it primarily for painting rather than wargamming so they probably aren't going to just have bits lying around to trade. You MIGHT get lucky with the Inquisitor model as the game has a high customization factor so someone may not have wanted the hammer and cut it off.

Even better... it's a separate piece.
IIRC, it has both hands attached to it, so it might require a little work.
