Can I warn people of a fraudster from another site?

Okay, on another site I visit (rpg related), a guy posted some really good deals - too good to be true deals. He said he was in rent desperation mode. I bought one of his lots, and it looks like he was just trying to rip everyone off. Nobody has received anything, even after multiple promised ship dates - and no shipping confirmations have ever been given. I hit the point where I said I wanted a refund, and not the items. I am still waiting on the paypal claim, but am concerned they will be able to get nothing.

Anyway, in the get go, before I had any clue he was ripping people off, I pointed him toward Bartertown. I told him he could probably get better money for his 40K stuff here. I do not think he ever posted here, but do not know for certain. But my concern now is that he might come here in the future and try to do something like he did there. So, do I have a means of flagging him? I know I cannot enter a negative reference since, as far as I know, he's not part of this site. And since the sale didn't occur here, I doubt I can give a bad trader report. But is there any way I can flag him as a fraudster? My claim with paypal should be decided on 10/17. If he doesn't voluntarily refund my money, I'm going to report it to the FBI internet crime site and the Mail fraud site. I just don't want anyone here to get nailed by him, especially since I recommended Bartertown as a great place to trade and sell stuff.

Could you PM me his paypal address, name, and email you corresponded through...

Please do not post it, as this is really an unverified accusation.

While you definitely can't post it here, you could post the details on the other site where the trade occurred. If others are aware, or deal with the same person, then they'll know.

If you're PayPal, I hope you paid via credit card for your own protection.

There are several of us on the other site who are contacting the local authorities. The guy heading it up is involved in federal law enforcement.
