Canis Wolfborn (?), anyone have pics or a good description?

I have a friend that was going crazy at the box for the new Thunderwolf guy, but the back doesn't have a pic of the pieces (at one time they used to, but it's been a while since I played 40K). Anyway, can anyone that has one give me a good description of the parts or better yet, a pic? Are the legs attached to the wolf? How many parts? How big of a base? Etc...
Thanks for any help.

Rich

The back, left leg is disattached, as is the 2 front legs. The rider is on the wolf, body and all, but his arms are seperate. The face of the wolf and upper head is seperated as well. Hope that helps.

Pork,

Very cool link! Thanks. Alas, I think that spells out that my friend can save his money.

Why do they keep sculpting riders and legs to the mounts?Don't they realize how many more they could sell if the mounts were useable for other things like conversions and adding variety.Man are they dumb as a box of rocks!

Have you seen the sprue for the new skaven clanrats? They are near 1 peice. You have the Clanrat, attachable arm w/ weapon, and a shield that glues to the other arm which is tucked in as part of the body.

Essentially a Clanrat is Base, Body, Weapon arm, shield
No multiple poses anymore, no spindly tails (which I'm actually glad for as they were a pain when ranking up) No more head twists, unless you cut it off first.
The quality is up, but the variances are going down.

Actually, I believe that they are cheaper now at $33 for 20 Clanrats. If memory serves, they were $35 for 20 before.

Book is out november 7th.

Stormvermin are $50/box, but are boxes of 20 now.

Special characters and whatnot priced as well.

Doomwheel is $33 as well, not as bad as i had thought.

yeah, $44 would have been better, but $25 for 10 Isn't bad i guess. As long as they are true MPP and not onerats like the basic box.
