Question
If you read my sig line(and I assume most people don't as I'm waiting on refs from a couple old trades) there are a couple of things in there about my trading practice. If someone doesn't adhere to these practices and I then call off the trade because of it ,am I libel for a legitimate back out?
Pete
PS I was just wondering after something I saw on the backouts forum

We are discussing it in the Staff area right now actually.

Since SIG Lines can be changed at whim.. there is nothing to stop someone from changing their sig to negate a prior implied deal.

Staff is currently considering Sig Line info (for the right now) to be nothing more than "a good insight into that trader's rules and mindset" but NOT something enforceable.

Having said that... something in the PM string that says "Hey, remember that as my Sig Sayeth.. I will include Mayonaise with all trades" (or whatever) ...will become part of that trade and that does become enforceable.

Exactly as Jim says.
Due to the malleable nature of Sig lines you should, FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION, copy & paste the information into one of your PM's or emails during the (BEGINNING OF THE) trade.
