Hey guys I recently recieved a crap load of SM stuff and have no idea what I should price it at to move it, but still not be to cheap. I really know little about pricing marines.
this is what I got, I put what I thought would be good prices next to them. Please tell me if I have stuff to hi or low. I dont know if I want to sell or trade yet, but this is what I think they should go for in a sale, though I tend to be delusional sometimes.

Honestly, I think you're asking a WHOLE lot of us.
I suspect you'll find few people with specific suggestions for you.

Personally, I'd be happy to help... but I don't have the kind of time where I can look up the MSRP of each item before replying (my time comes in dribs and drabs). You'll get a FAR better response if you include the MSRP (where available) for these items.

couple things..

Broken or poorly painted models should generally go for much less than half retail.

I see you listed a busted, poorly painted Drop pod for $12. May be close in value, but REALLY hard to tell.

Pictures speak a thousand words yanno.

But, in general, asking close to retail for assembled models is risky.

Another example. - 10 Sternguard, assembled, nothing else done - $45.. retail on these is $35/5 or $70 for 10 - $45 is a decent and fair price, IMHO.

Another thought .. "retail" on AoBR stuff is dicy. I have seen bits sites list the Termies, on sprue for about 17-18 for 5, or 3.50 each, New. Asking 40 for 12, in that condition, for them might be high.

Honestly, it REALLY depends on the buyer. I'm an avid eBay watcher and buyer. Many of your prices match approximate sale prices on eBay, but not all.
As was mentioned the AoBR stuff is dirt cheap. This is purely due to saturation of the market. Everyone and their brother buys the set, slaps it together, and decides they don't like or want it anymore. Even bit sellers selling brand new parts from the set don't get a ton for it. Terminator squad price is currently about $15, brand new. Dreads are about the same. Tacticals are dirt cheap. I've seen squads go for as little as 99 cents, or as much as $15, new. You can't pay people to take the Captains.

Personally, I won't even look at assembled vehicles without a great picture, and a lot of questions about condition, glue used, etc. I refurb a lot of stuff, and have found Marnie vehicles to be an absolute beast to reclaim, due to the hollow interiors. Ripping one apart requires buying replacement parts, or accidentally butchering the model into a terrain piece.

Broken models are even worse. Sure, you can sometime fix stuff, but if it requires a lot of effort, I'm just going to buy a new one from TheWarStore or Wayland Games for 20% off retail and save myself the headache.

What I'd recommend is picking a price you'd be happy to part with the stuff for, either individually or as a lot. Post it for that, and don't accept anything lower. That way you never feel cheated by haggling. It is YOUR stuff, after all.

I'd say your best bet it going to be at least 25% off for stuff that's brand new in the box. Most people, I find, will go to an actual online retailer for 20% off before they'll buy from someone on here for close to what they could get it from a retailer. (For some reason brand new from a store and brand new from a trader don't seem to be equal in a lot of people's minds.) Once you get stuff out of the box pricing becomes more dicey. If it's brand new on sprue with NOTHING missing and you just don't have the box anymore those can usually be sold for approximately the same as NIB stuff. (Meaning 25-30%~ off.) Once things are assembled, painted, primed, stripped, etc... the prices become much more fluid and much more dependent on both your ability to describe the stuff, (pictures help immensely,) and how much a potential trade partner wants them. The best way to deal with that stuff, in my opinion, is to put up pictures and describe it as well as possible and then solicit offers from people. You can then haggle back and forth. But just remember that if one person low balls you that doesn't mean everyone will. One key tactic is to stick to your guns to a certain degree. Don't let the first guy who approaches you try to push you into accepting a price you don't think is fair.

I just glanced at your prices, but they seem a bit high. For things that are broke or badly painted, expect to get half retail at best.
