Question on PMs

I noticed that when I send out a PM to a user, it sits in the Outbox and doesn't show up in the sent folder. How long does it take the PM to get sent out to the user, instead of sitting in the Outbox?

It moves to the Sent Box when that member accesses his PM's, whether or not he actually reads yours. If he comes to the site and either reads a PM, or composes one, or even looks at the list of PM's.. that is when it moves from Out to Sent.
If he comes to the site, and avoids his User Control Panel, and, say, just surfs the ads or forums .. I think it stays in your Outbox.

Pardon Porky... he's old and sometimes has flashbacks. that happens when you get to be
HIS age.
That's the way it USED to work. The OLD way... Like one or two YEARS ago or something. LOL
They actually stay there now until the guy actually opens them.

Ever been walking down the street and saw THAT guy? The one mumbling to himself about the Rapture while begging for spare change for "food" and smelling like old fish and crotch-rot? The one you feel bad for not helping but STILL don't want him to touch you?
I'm sure it's
NOTHING like that, Jim.
