Question about AoBR Box set Marines

Okay, after being out of 40k now for a few years, I am starting to feel the urge to play again. I'm thinking about trying to pick up the AcBR Box set just to get my two armies started up again but was wondering if the marines in the boxset come with molded Ultramarine shoulder pads? What about the older BfM box set (One with nids and SM)? Thanks for the info in advance.

Neither have the Ultramarine symbol molded in. The BfM Marines ONLY have Ultramarine decals. The AoBR Marines come with a bunch of decal options. I personally like the AoBR Marines better, plus you get the terminators, commander, and dreadnought in the box.

Let alone all the Orky goodness, which is by far better than the Tyranid items in the last boxed set.

Hope that helps.

Well, you might want to wait on that for a little while. The NEW Space Hulk game is due in late summer, early fall from what I hear.

If you are going to get AoBR, get it now. I think they are going up to $75 the first of June.

It should also be mentioned, that the Tac squad in the AoBR box, while not having Ultramarine iconography on them, DOES have a tactical up arrow molded into the right side shoulderpad. It is easy enough to remove, or not. It is raised though.

Also a minor point, but the BfM box is now out of production. I haven't seen one whole or in part in quite some time, and the crashed lander terrain suddenly shot up in price on feeBay. Unfortunately, it is still the best value for the money when buying Nids to start out, but can't be found anywhere.
