I ran across a few bits, and somthing looked a bit odd. I've only been playing Eldar for a short time, I do have various bits ranging back to 2nd ed. but this bit just doesn't look right

Did they ever produce this bit as a metal cast? I've only seen this weapon as plastic

All the Eldar heavies were produced as metal way back when.

I think at one time or another all heavy weapons for all the armies were cast in pewter or lead....

the old Blue blister packs :)

I know they were all metal at one time. For example I have 3 different versions of the scatter laser, I just didn't know if they had cast that design as metal. I've only seen that design as plastic. I have a "gatling gun" in metal, That triangle style, in plastic, and another rounded version from an old Guardian platform.

I myself do not have those pieces, I found them ouline scouting for bits and wanted to make sure I wasn't possibly buying someone's casts.

I used to have the scatterlaser platforms in 2 different versions. One type was the "gatling gun" and one type was the triangle you have.I never had any plastic ones.
