kturock,

As highlighted in rule #8 below:
Rule #8: Concerning 'acceptable' trade materials:
Nothing that violates the law in the United States. That includes copyright law, federal law, state law, local law...get the idea?
No weapons of any kind. This is not a political statement, this is a rule of the website as decided by Trademaster Adam and myself.
NO FIREARMS OR WEAPONS.
Anyone who posts an ad asking for firearms or other weapons in trade for anything will be immediately and permanently banned.
That means no: Guns (be they BB or powder-powered), Rifles, Shotguns, Automatic Firearms, cans of spam, Semi-Automatic firearms, bows, arrows, crossbows, shuriken, shaken, trained attack squirrels, sharpened spoons, blades of any length or type, polearms, explosives, combustables, blunt-force instruments (batons, nightsticks, tonfa, escrima, etc) or boots-to-the-head. That includes practice weapons like SCA and Olympic fencing gear, dulled aluminum samurai swords, tree branches, darts, plastic kitchenware and cooking pans.
Paintball and Airsoft equipment are acceptable.
"Boffer" style weapons made of PVC pipe and foam padding are acceptable.
If you have questions whether or not your item qualifies as "boffer" then contact me before you post. I will clarify.
Firearm accessories are NOT acceptable.
That means no magazines (what holds the bullets), clips, parts, shells, reloading equipment, gunpowder, sights, or anything else I deem related to firearms or weaponry.
Animals are NOT acceptable trade materials. We're just not going to go there. For that matter, human beings or any of their constituent parts aren't acceptable trade materials either.
Airsoft weapons are an acceptable trade commodity.

Hope this helps.

Thank you,

ok. i couldn't remember if they were or weren't.
i figured if not, someone could try to catch it.
if so, then it'd just be something else i posted to get ignored, or ridiculed.

Oh.
I'm sorry.

You were saying?

Seriously, though... We'd rather people point out things they think are questionable and be WRONG about it than not post them at all and be right.
Thanks.

As an offtopic sidenote.

Airsoft guns are illegal in public here in Beaverton, Oregon, EVEN if they are clear, orange tipped, hell, RAINBOW COLORED... Any toy gun that shoots projectiles at a certain fps(I donno what that number is) is illegal here. But Paintball guns are not by the way. Odd huh? Airsoft = 80-300fps, paintball = 200-500fps. Granted Airsoft can do more dmg, but still...

However, they are NOT illegal elsewhere I've lived.

Brings me back to MMO stuff, as always, you know I like to press the issue ;p

If something that is illegal(against the real law, not a TOS or EULA), that can be sold here but something that is simply not allowed by a company (NOT AGAINST the law, just against their terms of use btw) cannot be sold here?

Not trying to hijack your thread. I came in to say they were illegal in many Oregon cities. But as I was typing, couldn't help but remember my MMO stuff thread.

Thoughts?

First... your "question" (in red) isn't actually a question. It doesn't actually ask anything.

Second... before fixing it, switch over from here to the MMO thread and ask it there. It would threadjack this topic to ask it here.

I retract my original basis for my question. Airsoft guns are LEGAL in all US states, however, some counties/cities restrict public use, in Federal law however, they are considered toys, and must have an orange tip.

Anyways, sorry for the intrusion. I guess I'll have to continue my search for the answer to the Question of Life, MMOs, and Everything.
