I'm trying to find someone that makes itty bitty pennants (say 1" long by 1/4" wide or smaller at top), preferably blank, that I can drape on lances, weapons, etc. I've looked at a couple of craft stores for a punch to create them, no luck. Anyone got any suggestion.
If it gets down to it, I'll pull the material out of my shredder and go at it with some scissors, but I want hundreds of these.....................

Have you thought about using some sort of ribbon, Don? You'd still have to go at it with scissors, but your width would be uniform... and no painting worries.

This probably doesn't help you but I remember an old WD article where they used the tinfoil from yogurt cups and made awesome looking banners out of them. After cutting to shape you can pose them in very distinct shapes and furls with the heavy foil and they took paint well after priming.

Ribbons, hmmmm, problem there might be fraying but it's a possibility.
Tinfoil, come to think of it, I remember using gum wrappers in the dim and ancient past for something like this. I was figuring on using elmer's to shape the paper ones.

There is also someone on Ebay that deals in banners. His exact user name escapes me, but it seems that it would not be too hard to find. I believe he has a store and creates custom banners if you email him a JPEG.

in one of the gw painting guides it showed making banners with paper, thinned white glue and pens.
draw the banner as a triangle. use a fine tip pen [or fine paint brush] to write or draw on them. cut them out. 'paint' the banners with thinned out white glue. more water than glue.] then curl them by running them between your thumb and fore-finger. when the glue dries, they stay in that position.

Yeah, I'm just hoping that I can find some I don't have to cut out........ Don't really feel like cutting out a couple hundred of these things.

I know that Lego makes plastic banners for their knights.. but every one is identical and they are hard to sculpt.. lol

Fray check is the solution to fraying ribbon.
