i was just wondering if there was a thread that members could state what mini's they have and the condition of the mini's and get an estimated price for what it would sell for. i have many 3rd ED or OOP items that i have no idea what to value them at, this is especally hard as i was given items from another GW gaming system that i do not even play so i have no idea what i have is even worth. some examples of what i have that i would like to sell.
1x OOP 3rd Ed Bloodthirster - 100% complete, unassembled some parts primered
3x 3rd Ed Juggernauts of Khorne - 100% complete, 1 painted and assembled, 2 partally painted unassembled
1x Mordheim City of the Damned starter box - 99% complete NOS (1 bit missing)
What's my stuff worth thread?

Problem is.. value of OOP items is really subjective! What *I* might pay for something is totally different than, say MagickalMemories price point.
The Acaeum, (a D&D website that tracks value of original D&D items) uses past auction results to generate their price lists.
Maybe running an ebay check on those items would be a good indicator of past prices for the OOP Items.
(However, I KNOW my local FLGS has a Mordheim starter, in shrink, that he is trying to sell for $125 and is getting NOWHERE with it.

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

The Mordheim rules are now free to download.
The Humans are Empire militia so look at value 60 to 70% of retail for those. Treat the speciality extra sprue as incentive.
The Skaven are available in the GW Skaven box sets (I think they new boxes have more figures than the OOP Mordheim sprue though) so again, part value less standard web discount of the GW retail
Dice, measuring sticks etc have no value.
The difficulty is the buildings which are genuinely no longer available.
Last set I bought was for $30 (feeBay) complete with the plastic wall/roof sprues (worth very little without them)
I would hazard a guess at around $60 would be realistic. You may be better off splitting it up though.
YMMV

Re: What's my stuff worth thread?
When I look at stuff, I try to focus on comparable retail for setting a trade value, then subtract 30-40% if selling for cash.
Mordheim starter? The minis and printed rulebook means it's probably a near-even trade with a current starter.
Juggernaut? Even trade with the current Bloodcrusher.
OOP Bloodthirster? He's just a metal Ogre, so maybe a bit more than a current Chaos Ogre.

Re: What's my stuff worth thread?
OOP stuff is VERY subjective. Admittedly, by weight the oop Bloodthirster is about the same as a Chaos Ogre, but to someone who wants the oop version for a Demon Prince maybe, he's worth what the market will bear.

Lower rating? I ask that you ship first. Also, if I offer a stupidly good deal and you try to negotiate even lower...don't call it bad communication that you didn't get a reply. I deleted the message.

it also depends on what area you live in, and what's available there.
if i can sell for 50% of retail locally, get cash instantly, not have to deal with paypal, MO's or shipping; i'm not goning to sell it for that here.
the reverse is also true. if you have a store that sells at 20% off, and has a good supply and inventory, why would you buy here for the same price or really close; like 30% off.
also there's the whole, i don't like the look of the new/old ones.
personally, i don't like the new termies or nids. alot of the newer players, don't like the older stuff.
the only reason a picasso is so expensive is someone, is willing to buy it for that much.
maybe not you or me, but someone.

Re: What's my stuff worth thread?
funny story...I just saw that Mordhiem boxed set...opened with only the extra bits on the spruces left in the box...but all the building pieces unpunched on feebay and it had 6 bids and was up to 40 dollars....
either they are bidding and not realizing that it is just an empty box technically with some bits. (IMO building is useless) or there really are some desperate people out there needing that 1 or 2 missing skaven heads.
