Terrain?

Anyone know of good places to buy pre-made terrain? Whenever I search, there's a million people wanting to do commission work (too rich for my blood), and I end up trawling ebay for the dribs and drabs that are left. Anyone know some sites (or maybe HAVE a site) selling WYSIWYG terrain for decent prices?
Thanks!

Not knowing what you are looking for, I would try this guy
http://www.theterrainguy.com/index.html . Prices seem reasonable to me and he ships them fairly quick...

Moved to Questions Forum.. as you are asking Questions, yanno?
How much premade are you looking? I really enjoy the Platformer and Hexagon Stuff from Pegasus
http://www.thewarstore.com/IMEXPlatformerHexagon.html
but if you are looking for truly 100% no-effort required terrain.. got me! Maybe ask around a local train store?

i got a couple of peices i bought via ebay years ago.. dunno if the place is still in business.
what are you looking for? hills and such are easy, same with forests and lakes, rivers, water.. now the buildongs and citers/rubble can be a bit of work..

You're asking for something that doesn't exist.
You have:
Feebay pre-made terrain. Some of it for good prices. Some of it is crap.
People who MAKE terrain to order... they tend towards pricey.
People who make terrain to order that isn't pricey... See Feebay terrain above...
You're not really going to find much premade stuff for inexpensive prives, except your dribs & drabs on FEEbay. Not in my experience, anyway.

I'll throw in my hat here as an advertisement of sorts. I bought some from Bitzjunkie (here on the forums) that was solid and reasonably priced. Might want to look him up. He is really just an individual that answered my ad, not a business, but...like I said , pretty solid.
After saying that, you can always post in the Terrain Wanted forum to see if anyone takes up the challenge.

I didn't want to mention him, as he doesn't seem to do it "for profit" but more "for trade."
He's working on a table full of Ork terrain for me, as we speak.
I've seen a pic of his work. It was nice enough for me to want a table full.
Once I have them in my hands, my reference will tell you just how good his work is. : )

I bought a basic table set up from him. Water feature, 2 rock outcroppings/hills, 2 forests. and a few break up pieces. All I can say is that the work he did on it, is bar none the best I have paid for. I got a good deal because we had had a deal in the past that I was pretty generous with and he returned the favor. If I wouldn't have been in a bind at Xmas time, I would have gladly paid more for it. I wish I had the pics around, and I can't take any because it was a Xmas present.
My whole-hearted endorsement goes to Bitzjunkie.

Hi
I own Game Fusion Studio, one of the advertisers on this site. We have lots of pre-made WYSIWYG terrain for sale at our ebay store.

Or, click on my banner here on Bartertown.
Thanks!

LOL
Something about the letter spacing on the boards made that "c" and "l" in "click" look like one letter to me, and I TOTALLY misunderstood where you were going with it. LOL
I forgot about your stuff. You always have a very nice sized and diverse selection.

Absolutely, Ulf's stuff looks amazing, just offering an opinion off past experience.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, guys!
LOL. Yeah, on reading that a second time, it does look kinda odd..... Think I'll phrase that differently from now on.

Hey guys!
Thanks Stanislav for the kudos - as usual. And thanks MM for the recent trade too!
Gamefusion does have very good items and quality. His pricing is good as well. I wish I had time to crank half of the amount of stuff out that he does. I've even surfed a little on his pages for inspiration!
Always good to have some competition out here. It just makes us better at what we produce.
I try to hit the peg for quality myself like GF. Hopefully, I'll pick up the "casting and molding" hat soon and don it, so I could fill the odd, quickly needed order on the fly.
If anyone needs terrain, feel free to ping me here - I am about 3 weeks out on projects right now
.
