Maybe i'm a bit lost but, i have been receiving many good references that dont appear on the check reference section. The only ones that appear are the first 9 trades i made.

Did you change email addresses? Your rating shows 58 on my screen. I had this problem until they were integrated. Searching by username instead of email address might show the number I am seeing. Maybe not, just taking a pot shot at it.
Sure MM will fill you in better than I am able. He should be around anytime...this is a thread just begging for his particular talents of Post Pimping (and as bad as that sounds, he probably DOES know exactly why)!

Well, I *WAS* going to post a reply in this thread but, since Gobbo... errr... Stanislav was so RUDE to me, I will just not post anything.
Oops. Too late.
Actually, Stan's got the gist of it.
It's probably got something to do with how you're searching. If you're searching by name or email address, and they didn't insert those when leaving the ref, it's not going to pull anything up.
Is the # next to your User Name correct? It should be (it uses your username for collecting the ref's).
I don't have it but someone (I don't recall whom, but I'm sure they'll be along soon) has the link you can use to search by User Name instead of the other options.

My email address is still the same and i check my ref by email address, maybe its what Stanislav said. Still, a trader i'm working with this week told me that i had no references and when i check i only have 18 and the list of ref left is just 9 traders long and when i'm logged i cant see my ref number.

Which layout of the boards are you using?
Under your User Control Panel, under Board Preferences, make sure you are set to "prosilver" as subsilver2 has display issues for some members.
If you ARE using prosilver at the moment.. I dunno.. when I click on your references (which is next to your username in prosilver), I get this.

It is weird. Searching for my feedback nets a much lower number that should show up. I think posts are showing the right number though.
Also I was in Prosilver and switched to subsilver to see. In that I can't even find a way to post/check refs.

It has to do with how they were left. If they didn't use your name, for example, searches "by name" won't show those ref's... Same for email address.
Only the onle by your User Name should be presumed to be correct.

Yeah I figured that was the case. I did change my signature to have a link to my references. I know that any posts I make show it, but have noticed that PMs and such don't so that may be a way to provide that information still.
Kind of scary when you do a search and only half shows up.(Actually, looking at it I think it only shows what was there prior to the site change when the new ref system got turned on)
No big deal. The refs exist, just have to look a little harder. Does anyone know if the Admins were planning to add a search by userid option to the 'Check References'? That would probably help for some of us.
Also would they like any assistance on the programming or database management? I am a programmer for Discover Financial and my emphasis is Web-based application development and MySQL databases. I don't currently code in php, but have in the past and can pick it back up pretty quickly.

Adam HAS talked about looking for someone to work on the ITL in the past. I don't know all the details, though.
You should PM Linrandir and include your qualifications, so he can forward it to Adam.
