*I* could have told you that.
If you want to link to *that site,* you have to mask your links by using a different message, like, "My Auctions," and having THAT link to them.

First off, this is NOT a gripe or whining.
I am just looking for cheaper alternatives.
It would be nice to hear an official answer on this one.
It would be nice for some of us Bartertowners who want to save some of their own money from the juggernaut that is eBay/paypal could have another outlet. And one that we could link to here so that somebody might actually look at another website's auctions...
I have tried to contact the admins on this one, but I realize that the ITL is a FAR more important issue. Hopefully, in time, there can be an "official" answer on this one.

That IS the official answer...
Well, technically, it's a way AROUND the official answer.
The official answer is that *that site* and BTown Admin had a bit of a falling out and the Admin made it so that their site couldn't be advertised (in sig lines, auction links... anything).
With the new ownership of *that site*, I'm confident that the Admin will give it a second go... but, until they do, that's where it sits.
