Warhammer Ancients Vs. Field of Glory

So......what system would anybody recommend for ancient historicals? Primarily Romans Vs Barbarians?

I havent played Field of Glory enough to make a real decesion, but I can say that the Warhammer Ancients is a great system. It doesnt get fuddled up by level 4 mages and Shaggoths, so it works smoothly and quickly.

The main advantage it has, at least for me, is that the wounding and hitting works 90% the same way as the other GW games.
