Starting an army painting service...

And wanting to post "for hire" posts. How do I become authorized to do so? I tried PMing Linrandir, but he hasn't responded.

Give Lin some time. And send him another PM. He will get back to you in time.
Patience is a virtue. The admin's here are VERY busy.

If you have already PMed Lin about advertising, go ahead and post your ad in the "For Hire" section.
He won't have a problem with it. He's done it for people before.
Just be aware that, for billing purposes, your advertising will probably be considered to have started from the day you posted the "For Hire" ad. Also, if you don't already, have a banner or 2 ready for circulation.
Keep in mind, however, that -should you end up NOT advertising- your ad will be nuked.
At the VERY TOP of your ad, post a note akin to the following:
[quote]Moderators/Watchmen: I have PMed Linrandir about advertising and am waiting for a response. MagickalMemories said it would be okay to post this, since I intend on advertising and have already taken the time to contact Linrandir.[/quote]
If anyone (Admin or otherwise) has a problem with it, I'll be the one to take the hit & you'l be okay.
