Who is the CHEAPEST to order GW from.

Okay, folks.
After I sell a couple things, I'm going to be collecting Orks. It's still a couple months away, yet, but I'm doing research NOW.

Whi is the cheapest online retailer for GW stuff?
I know that 20% is the most common and bitkingdom does free shipping on orders over $66.
Does anyone beat that regularly? Especially for large $ amounts?
I will, likely, be dropping about $300 (at 20% off, that's $375 retail) or so at one shot, in case dollar amount matters.
I'm hoping to find someone doing 25% to 30% at that $ amount, but that's just "hoping."

Thanks, guys.

Eric

P.S. Remember, I'm looking for OVER 20% off. I already know a bunch of people who do 20% off. Thanks.

Not sure about shipping to the US, but taking advantage of the dollar, might help you out here. 30% off but off CDN pricing... HMMM... Check it out and see.

Am I still a smart fella? Let me know!

The % is good, but between inflated Canadian prices and a weak dollar (about $.92 US to $1 CAD), it's actually worse than 20% off for me.

You're still smart enough, I guess. LOL

I do not know of anyone offering more than 20% off.

Have you thought of contacting some of the better known sellers and asking them about deals for "X" amount? In the past, I've contacted andrew(?) at chaos ork who worked with me a few times.

Whatever you do, don't get DROPZONED!

I think Chaos Orc sells at 25% off. He always seems to have the best prices. I have made several purchases from him and been very happy with the service and shipping times. Oh yeah that's another thing, his shipping rate is a flat $6.25 and you can't beat that!

While I don't wish to argue, but I know that the Warstore ships for $4.95. The only problem I have with Chaosorc is the fact that his selection is not complete. I know why, and I applaud what he is doing. No doubt. He is great IF he has what you are looking for and with the size of order that Eric is wanting to place, Chaosorc might have a hard time coming up with everything.

I know that Neal at the Warstore USED to offer an extra 5% when you purchased over $250, BUT I guess GW forced him to stop doing that. Although, Eric you might want to email Neal and explain what you are doing. He might give you an extra amount off.

Other than that, I think 20% is as good as it gets for new items.

All that money you made off those LE Gaunt's Ghost chapbooks is going to get you a pretty LARGE Ork army, eh Eric?

Ah, Karl. You know me so well.

FWIW, everyone, ChaosOrc is always my FIRST stop when shopping. There's just no beating his prices (typically).
The problem it, he doesn't have some of the more important items I'm looking for.

Depending on how much these Gaunt's Ghosts books make me, this is my (hopeful) shopping list:

2 AoBR boxes
1 Green Tide
4 Trukks
Other misc Ork 40K boxes (Lootas/Burnas, Bikes, etc) and blisters (Meks, grots -maybe fantasy Goblins- etc.)

Neal tops off at 20% now.

Take a look here! This company sells at 15% off and has free shipping on orders over $75. ChaosOrc is always my goto place for large orders. I haven't tried out SciFi Genre, but I know people who swear by them.

Around 2004 GW went thru and culled the 'net for businesses offering 30% discount on their product, and since then the pickings have been slim. How'd they do it, you ask? Stopped selling to 'net retailers who didn't play ball.

Why not try some of the eBay stores?

I remember those dark days.

"Play by our rules or die."

Some died, anyway.

Because none are selling everything I want and, by the time you add in shipping, it's (FAR) cheaper to get the items from Neal. I don't want to BID on the stuff, really, either. I just want to buy it and be done.

The problem with GW from ebay stores is that GW sells (at best) for 60% of retail and nobody can survive on FEEbay while competing with brick & mortar stores seling online.

Let's take a $100 item, for example.
FEEbay store buys it for $60.
For a minimal profit on the item, they raise their desired price to $70.
Know what the fee is on a $70 item? It's, like $8.XX.
So, now they raise it to $78 to make up for the fees (which raises the fees on them another $.25 or $.50, BTW). Now, we're looking at 22% off for me. Right? Wrong.
Neal @ The Warstore is $4.95 for ALL shipments. With him, this purchase is $84.95 and shipped FAST.
The sellers on FEEbay charge (usually) exhorbitant shipping prices (gotta cover those losses on fees, you know). Eight, nine, ten bucks isn't unusual. Plus, they ship at their liesure, typically.
By the time I'm done paying for shipping, my item is only five to 10% off of GW retail, and slow to arrive (they do NOT tend to use priority [or better], which Neal does).

I wish someone with the time and know-how would buy Games 2 Trains(dot)com and turn it into a REAL auction site and kick the CRAP outta FEEbay.

Cool.
I wish I knew who it was.

Now, all they have to do is make it a REAL auction site (not just gaming) and clean up the layout to make it more user friendly and less of a headache. All those flags and multi-color graphics and...

::shudder::

Our dollar has tanked since we last had this conversation. You may want to recheck the calculations for my link. Just for ***** and giggles.
