Outbox Messages
I am sorry, I didn't have time to search the forum for an answer to this question because I am at work. I have had this problem ever since the last forum. Messages sit in my outbox and don't send. I have 5 in there right now, one is from July 9th. I am not confusing my outbox with sentbox, because some messages get through...even if they are sent after ones that are already in there. Does anyone know why I have this problem? Am I flooding the system too much?
Less gaming as I get older.

Re: Outbox Messages
They move to the Sent Box once the recipient reads them.jordanmh84 wrote:I am sorry, I didn't have time to search the forum for an answer to this question because I am at work. I have some in my Out Box that have been there for years...

Want my help with a BTR or backout? All messages sent/posted should be in CHRONOLOGICAL order. Otherwise, I just won't read it.

Re: Outbox Messages
Eric, are you being obstinate?
I did have a time where I left a message in my outbox for a couple of months. By then I came to terms with the fact that the douchebag (Thanks Ancientsociety) wasn't going to read my trade proposal.
Yeah, it blows to sit there and look at a message that should've at least been read. Let alone getting a reply.
I think from here on in, if a trader won't at least reply to a PM, I will just put them in my FOES list and I can act like THEY don't exist.
Grrrrr...

Obstinate? Why? For leaving them in there?Adunaphel wrote:Eric, are you being obstinate?

Nah. I just don't see a reason to delete them. They're just... "there." They're not in my way.
There is ONE guy, though... Named ORKLORD (Note: this is NOT Orclord... Orclord's a good guy) that shows up every year or 2 looking to scam some people. Now, there's a PM to HIM there that, if he ever decides to come back, I want him to see to know I won't forget him... Other than that, it's not me being obstinate. It's me not caring. LOL It taked, like, 10 seconds to delete a PM... I could be writing posts in the forums during those 10 seconds.

My oldest is from Wed Apr 12, 2006 3:51 pm, so a little over two years. It's to a guy who backed out of a trade with no word. I should report him as a deadbeat just for funsies. I think i've got the message history quoted in the PM for proof. Maybe i'll wait til the three year anniversery. : )MagickalMemories wrote: They move to the Sent Box once the recipient reads them.

I follow the generally accepted practice that the person with the lower rating ships first.

I think NuWishA was referring to the reporting time frame.peacemystic wrote:Pretty long one by the look of it!NuWishA wrote:You have a time limit on those sort of things.![]()

Come on, folks. What's your oldest?
