Hi guys, I'm planning to have the album cover to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album as my avatar, like I have it on Warseer, Ammobunker and everywhere else.
I've reduced it to under 100x100 pixels, it's a JPEG image and it's under 6mb, though it just won't work! its all fine when I click "submit" the change my profile in this way, though when I then get to the page that says my profile is updated, this comes up several times in normal black font over the Bartertown display-
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/barterto/public_html/trading/includes/usercp_avatar.php:288) in /home/barterto/public_html/trading/includes/page_header.php on line 485
or another 3 digit number on the end
any help appreciated

Several of us have had the same problem. Towely was not my first choice. The admins have been busy with RL issues, such as moving. Personally I've been waiting a bit to give them time. Time to get such things as decent internet for one of them. (they moved)

I could NEVER get mine to work either until I got a photobucket account and moved the Avatar to my album there. Then I just direct linked it in and it worked!
Maybe that will work for you guys as well.

It is one of the 2 lost legions. You see Chaos has the Emp. Children. The loyalists have the "Rainbow Warriors" Mwahahahah!
I Re-loaded the image to give credit to the artist. the actual caption by the foot reads "Poof Patrol"

OMG... GW would have a fit if someone did that theme and took it to a GT.. I remember back in the day when a guy in AU took a Pink themed army he called the pink panthers (complete with pink panther cartoon banners and custom pad decals) to a GT and GW kicked him out and said it wasn't appropriate... LOL.. I would love to see that done.. maybe someday i'll build a Space Marine army and do that...

I remember hearing about that. Ona side note there was a storyline story in Battletech along the similar lines. A mech factory was being attacked, and all the defensive mechs were tied up elsewhere. So the test pilots grabbed all the mechs that wre ready on the line. Slapped a big "Alfred E. Newman" face on the mechs with a Tagline "What me worry?"
They got slaughtered.
My simple questions is this, Not Appropriate?

yea is in GW didn't like the image that this gave their product.. I don't know maybe the judges though tit looked gay or something and they were anti gay... Ive actually talked to the guy who this was about so its not one of those urban legends or what not... he used to have a site and put out a by monthly hobby magazine on CD.. the stuff he did was amazing work.. he inspired my original 3rd edition nids.. he even sculpted a carnifex from the ground up.. funny thing is the new fex looks almost identical to what he sculpted...

And yet over the years, I have seen a Mars Attacks Space Marine army, a hockey team Space Marine army, The GI Joe IG army, and so on. One of the best, at a local GW store instead of GT, was the Simpsons Marines. The sculpting and modeling was absolutely awesome!
