I have my profile set to send my email address a notification when I receive a pm. This morning I have a notification email sitting in my email inbox but when I click on the link I show no pm in my inbox. When I go to bartertown not via the link I still show no message. So is the glitch that I didn't really receive a pm( I do have a few trade adds up, so possible) or that I did and it's in limbo now? anyone else have this problem?

If someone sent you a PM, but deleted it before you opened it, then it won't be there.
I've gotten those before.

Typically, you respond to an ad & someone else tries to send the OP a PM, but accidentally clicks on the "Send a PM" link in YOUR profile (Maybe you adda a "PM Sent" to the thread), then realizes it before you read the PM.

Or, perhaps, they PMed you about an ad, then changed their mind.
Looking at your recent posts, it looks as if either of these COULD have happened.


I'm not saying this IS what happened to you, but it could be.

I have had times when the notice of the PM was sent to me up to a week after the PM was actually sent. In those cases I had already opened the PM's and so they did not show up when I went through the link on the email.
