I've been involved in a trade for about two months now with someone in Greenland. We agreed to trade termie bits for my DA bike feathers, OOP whirlwind turret, and land speeder.

Now my stuff got there in about five days, and I'm still waiting on stuff from him. The termie stuff never showed, so he agreed to send me DA bits in replace.

I'm not sure what I should be doing right now. I do have to go to the post office so I was going to talk to them to see if maybe they randomly had a package for me. There was no tracking on it but the guy did say that he put a trace on it and found that it had made it to the central hub in Greenland but that was all he could find out.

Suggestions?

Find out what this "trace" is so you can verify it yourself. That atleast gives you the piece of mind that he did actually send it out. If he can't provide the "trace". I'd be a bit suspicious.

I've traded with people all over the map and have only had 1 or 2 packages lost to the warp. Unless he paid for a carrier pigeon to deliver it the package(s) should have gotten there by now. Let's see what the trace gives ya.

Now, Canadians... feel free to correct me...

I'm associating trading with Greenland with being about the same as trading with Canada, where customs is concerned.

If THAT is the case... I'd be concerned but not WORRIED.

I've had a Canadian trade take 6 months to arrive (it having been postmarked 3 months after he SAID it was sent.... but that still leaves 3 months in transit.

Shoot. I sent an ebay sale to Hawaii via media mail once... I sent it in Early November. it arrived in mid Feb.

Well nothing after two packages have been sent. The guy is working on an amount of money to send me via snail mail; due to no paypal. I just have to provide the address.

Now the post office said there was nothing that they could do since the guy tracked it to the main post office hub over there.

Hopefully, after I get the address, I only have to wait at most two weeks time.

I suppose if nothing shows I'll have to do some things I never hoped I'd have to do... BTR
