Hi Guys, Is it true that if the piece of Greenstuff is thin enough you can bake it with a hair dryer? Or is there a better way to cook it while it is on a plastic fig without killing it? Thanks!

why do you wanna bake it? Green stuff cures in air. thats why it is two part. One part lasts forever without the other... well pretty much.. you mix the two together, it dries/cures!

Green stuff takes roughly 24 hours to fully cure. The exothermic reaction of the 2 part epoxy creates some (mild) heat on its own. Adding more heat accelerates the process. A common method is to place the sculpt under a warm lamp to speed things up. I doubt a hair dryer would be all that effective.

Just wondering, where is the cheapest greenstuff available? I am looking to start sculpting, but as i will be BRAND NEW at it, i would like to be able to aquire a LOT for REALLY CHEAP! that way i can get better and still use the stuff that works (IE not clay) also, where can i get the stuff to start casting?

Thanks,

Check out Black Orc Games instead of buying your own equipment. They can do everything, including making the molds, all for a reasonable price. In addition, they have experience doing everything related to the actual production of minis.

Last time I looked at equipment, it was running around $2000+ for a small home casting set-up. Not to mention cost of material, etc. I think Black Orc Games is the way to go as a custom casting service.

It is Daloonie's shop. Use the code Bartertown to get a discount.
