I recently was involved with a sale with someone.
I got the items in a very timely manner, one thing though. The list of things did not match the items I got.
Basically I was missing alot of parts from the minis, was missing a couple of full blisters. there was a couple of extra minis in the box, but those were missing pieces also.
I have been trying to get ahold of the guy since saturday night when I got the package, no answer on email or PM's. I did notice that my PM is no longer in the outbox (IE he checked the PM's) No response to the mails or PM's makes me really think he is avoiding me.
Really want those missing parts, or atleast some of my money back to pay for them.
is there anything i can do?

I'd give it a little more time for the person to reply. The PM's move from the out box if someone just logs in I think (not clear if that means log in to their PM box or just the site in general though) and then on top off that they may not notice if they got anything because I think you can turn off the little pop up or email new PM notice in your profile and if they are not specificly looking/waiting for a message they may not notice the little new message indicator at the top of the page.

1) Messages go from outbox to sent box when someone checks their messages, not just because they logged on. Moral of the story? The message has been read.
2) I'd give it atleast a week. Even though he read your message, he may not be responding because:
a) he needs to make sure your claim is accurate.
b) he's trying to figure out the best way to fix the situation
c) he's hoping you'll just leave him alone and forget about it....DON'T!
3) If things are not fixed to your satisfaction, post a Bad Trader Report. Leave a Negative Trade Reference as well.

Incorrect.
It only means that he's been INTO his PM's. It means that he's seen that he HAS a PM from the guy.
It does NOT mean that the PM has been read.
I think the rest of your message is spot on, except the part about the BTR thread. IMO, these are overused. It should be used for people who are REALLY SCAMMING, not someone who half-@sses a trade.
That, of course, is just my opinion... and we KNOW what those are like.

You're right MM, it does not mean the person has read the PM. It just means they have taken the time to open their in-box and have had the opportunity to read it. Oversight on their part, real life emergency or internet failure would all be valid reasons for this happening once in a while.

Yeah, I've read a few BTR's that made me

. OTOH, I think Bad Trade Refs are underused out of fear of retribution even though the Mods are more than willing to mend BS refs.
Opinions are like

. Everyone's got'em and they all stink!
Sorry for the TJ...bad manners on my part.
Any responses from the other trader yet?

No response yet, I think I am going to start the process to get my money back from paypal and just ship these guys back to him. I have sent numerous emails and PM's. Nothing in response.
If anything, I would atleast like to get the value of what was missing in refund. So i can replace it myself.
I will be posting everything in BTR so i can atleast justify the bad trade reference if this does not get resolved.
