This idea is spawned by The Drop Zone's idea. Perhaps a horrible idea, but I'm curious of others input.
What if there were a seller out that who would be willing to buy, for a short time, and sell boxes slightly above retail? So basically you'd buy a box of something, probably an army box, and all the money beyond what the retailer paid for it went to some charity/forum etc...
Do you think this could even work?

More like an abusive excuse for tax write-offs. Charity is nice, but you forget the fact a lot of people won't do it if they have to pay full retail. A lot of people don't care about charity and want their merchandise cheap. Why pay full retail they would say. Online charity store? Bad idea IMO. Charity raffle? Sure, why not.

Charity store?
I'd have to vote bad idea also. As we've seen (harumph) people would question your motives ad nauseum. The "administrator" would be working for free and have to take
edit from the public. No Thanks

So I'd end up questioning myself? I am one who did question Drop Zone and probably seen as a horrible person for my questions, but I question with good intention. But this isn't the place for this.
This idea is bad. I've thought about it and really it just comes down to being able to buy 40k things cheaper. I think it would be great if people were willing to buy things at retail for charity, but I doubt it'll happen.
There's really no more reason for this thread, so mods you might as well nuke it.
