USPS and delivery confirmation failures?
-I pay postage via USPS
-I have mail order pick up my package
My delivery confirmation numbers a never logged on as 'recieved' online, and it causes troubles sometimes to my trades, although they recieve the item.
-what do you do?
-Does this happen to you?
-What do to do!

Weird. I use USPS w/ tracking delivery conf. for all my trades. Literally hundreds of times.
The closest thing to what you described that I've had happen to me was a package was never logged in as "received" or going to any other destination in between until it was actually delivered. But you shouldn't be having such problems several times. Do you have the correct tracking # typed in when you check?

Sometimes the e-tailer I regularly buy from never gets updated, even once its delivered. It just says "electronic info rec'd", which means they've entered it online.
I think it's a laziness issue (sorry kturock!) since it appears that the electronic tracking ISBN-thingy looks a bit different than the form, leading me to believe they have to scan it with another machine or do something more w/it.

Trading Guidelines:
1. Lower rating ships first - even if I am purchasing.
2. If you agree to buy something, you have 72hrs. in which to pay. If payment is not received in 72hrs., I will automatically post a Non-Payment/Backout thread.
3. Refs are left upon positive receipt of goods, NEVER beforehand!
4. I accept Paypal & USPS money orders and charge for shipping AT COST. I make no profit from it.
5. I trade NIB/new models at retail.

if the the barcode can't be read, if it gets wet, wrinkled or has tape over it; the letter carrier is SUPPOSED to enter the numbers manually..
i wouldn't hold my breath for it. it's also SUPPOSED to get scaned when it's accepted at the PO. i've seen my own packages not get scanned whn i handed them to the clerk. 'i'll scan it later'. the old 'check's in the mail' answer.
people are suppose to obey the speed limits, make complete stops at stop signs....et c.
people are lazy. some people do it and others don't.
it's the nature of the beast. usps used to be the single biggest empolyer, now.. wal-mart. sometimes, i swear the wages of the 2 are switched.

the receiver has to wait 30 days before they can file a claim. if it's not insured.. well we'll look for it and hope enough of it remains, so it could be identified.
ALWAYS. ALWAYS. ALWAYS. include a shipping invoice, with at least both addresses inside, and a description.
always insure your packages. if it's not worth the $2 to insure it, it's not worth the $50+ it costs to look for it.
