b-town crashing alot?

is it just me, or has b-town been crashing alot. i was on, thursday the 28th, and i got server notice errors. not saying page not found, that i got wednesday afternoon.
do we need to start a fund to get adam new servers, or is it the host site?

Had the same problems Wednesday and Thursday afternoon starting @ ~4PM CST.

Noticed it also...can be a definite "WTF, dammit!" when you're hoping to get that PM back about a pending trade

Same here. Saw the same error messages as MEDEVL Thurs evening on the home system and early Fri morning on the office computer system.
Maybe the site is getting a little unstable again?

I talked with Adam about this last night. The ISP is doing strange things and we are beginning to plan our quest outward for backups and possible mirrors.
Which doesn't solve the server crashes, but could at least provide a stopgap measure.

I am also signing up for a notification service which will check the site to ensure that it is running and if it is not, page my phone.

I just wanted to take a second and say "thank you" to the site admin of btown....you put alot of work into making this place run,so that we can all enjoy the site.

Just don't get a $.01 car charger for that phone.
My mom bought one on amazon or something for a penny and today it fried her battery
