In need of Advice

Ok regularily I don't do this type of thing, but my patience has been tried and now I need some advice about what to do next. In October i purchased a large lot of Confrontation Uraken Goblins from FuturePerfect. this was around 10/18/ 2006. Now almost 2 weeks later from that date i received a box that did not have my goblins in it but someone else's Bretonians ( i think hsi screen name is McFly420). Now i immediately emailed Future and let him know of the mix up. I sent Mcfly the Bretonians and He sent me the Goblins. Well the problem is I never recieved the Goblins. Now i let Future know that i never received and we came to an agreement for him to send me a refund for the $90. Ever since close to the middle of November we have sent messages back in forth where i have sent him at least 3 money requests on paypal and i always get a message back from him about how his paypal doesn't work or whatnot. My last message to him was to send me a money order so we can get this resolved and that was the last i heard from him. So my question is what can I do next?

Thanks in advance for any help and i apologize if this seems a bit long winded but i needed to get as much of the facts in as possible

That's a bad situation.

So McFly allegedly sent the goblins but you never received them, and FuturePerfect hasn't sent your refund yet.

I hope you saved your email trail, because that's definitely grounds for a BTR against FuturePerfect. I wager people might think twice about dealing with McFly as well.

I'd send him one final warning and if he doesn't comply then it's bad feedback and a BTR. But that's just my opinion.

i got pretty much the messages i sent him and the ones he replied to me with. I'm going to send him one last warning as soon as i go deal with another guy who owes me monmey...my old landlord.....

@artist: Yeah, that's certainly grounds for a BTR. Like Lin said, send him a final warning and file a BTR. If it's resolved, the BTR can be closed. If not, it's kept up and people will know better than to deal with him.

If you're dealing with an old landlord who owes you (I assume) your security deposit, in most major cities (certainly here in Chicago), the landlord has 45 days from the date of the lease end to send you your security deposit (plus interest) or send you an invoice (with actual receipts) for whatever damages he had to fix after you leaving. If he doesn't you can take him to small claims court. Google "tenant's rights" for your city if you need help.

I am having the same problem with him. He was going to refund my money for something that never arrived. I keep pming him, but no word back. Mine was only $25 worth though.

Thanks,

I just pm'd him again. I gave him until friday before I file a complaint w/paypal and a bad trader report. I have been on btown for a long time and never had a problem like this (I almost got burned by Ticknor though).

i doubt you will. he cancled very paypal request I ever sent him the otehr day. That's why i'm pretty much done with buying stuff second hand unless its on ebay. you probally should do the paypal thing before your 45 d ays runs out no matter what he says.
