Question on RULE #2. Mods?

I have a question on RULE #2. I've seen some people on here "sharing" the same account. Is this within the rules? Technically the rule is one account/per person, no multiple accounts. They each have one account, its just the SAME one.
The problem is if a trade goes "bad".
Gee. I didn't do it. It was my brother!(cousin,evil twin, nephew,significant other,pet gerbil,etc.)
Let me be clear. I don't intend to do this. No offense to anyone doing this now. I just think the rules need to be clarified on this point.
Thanks.

Rule #2 was also created for this very reason. I will tell you right now, you should never share an account with another person. IMHO there is absolutely no reason for multiple people within the same household to share a single alias.
Now as for actual wording, it does say
one account per person. Not
one person per account. There is no legal binding clause preventing multiple people from using a same alias per say on it's wording. However if you look a little deeper, there is a limitation. When you create an account with an ITL rating, it does have a specific First and Last name. On a trading standpoint, I would never trade with an individual who's name on the mailing address does not match the name on his/her ITL rating. This just SCREAMS improper alias abuse. But quite frankly, it's pretty dumbfounded to run the risk of other parties tainting your personal trade rating.

I thought that was the intention. But some will try to follow the exact wording of the rule.
Maybe rule #2 can be amended slightly to clear things up?
Thank you for the quick reply.

I agree, #2 needs to be amended. One acct = one person and vice versa.

unless it's a Minor and an Adult on the same account.
I would prefer knowing that an adult had access to a minor's account. IMO anyway.
Lin is looking this all over at the moment.

All of a sudden, Lin is a busy busy Admin. A lot of rules lawyers coming out of the woodwork (myself included I think) but this can only be good for the health of B-town.

Lin is always a busy busy Admin. You people keep me hopping.
Rule #2 has been amended, and you're right - the clarifications do help Bartertown in the short and long term.
