Dark Age

Has anyone played this?

I just went to a demo, and it seemed alright, if a little rough about the edges. The rules seem almost too simple, but that could just be my too-many-years of GW and historical gaming. It is a rather new game and could use some tweaking, but minis based on the art of Brom have potential.

Just pondering the opinions of Bartertown traders...

Hey There;

While Dark Age may seem new it's really not it's been around since the begining of Privateer press 2001 or so.

I play Dark Age quite a bit and I too thought at first the rules seemed simple and not that in depth.

when you begin to play a few things will become obvious.... Everthing dies. There are no super characters that stride around the board invicible. You can build a more flexible force than in most other games.
If you like Banes you can use them, if you like Strikes use them.

Dark Age reveals it'self to you a little at a time. After playing since gencon more than once a week I am just now begining to see the true nuances of the game.

Oh and the mini's freaking Rock!

Head over to dark-age.com and peruse the forums..you will not be disappointed. Another key point is it won't cost you an arm and a leg to build an army. The St' Mark Warband box is 5oopts and is only $32.00
