Not dead, it's just on the list with the other 10,000 things.

Cool
I did a trade with one guy..paided paypal the same day we made the deal and left him feedback...after repeated attempts to get him to leave me some return feedback...i checked how much feedback he left for other people...out of 22 trades he had left 1 feedback.....somethings gotta be done about people doing that..glad to hear its still on the map
Cheers

That bites, I hope this will help show when that type of thing happens. No ETA yet, sorry.

Simply put, Bartertown traders rely on the reference system for trust in trading.
As a matter of course, I leave a good reference for a trader as soon as their end of the trade is completed, and hope to receive the same in return. It has reached the point where I am considering waiting until I receive my reference before leaving one myself. I'm not at the point yet, but I'm getting there.
I have reached the point where I will no longer trade with another that has failed to leave a good reference for me after I have left a good reference for them. It's inconsiderate, and - due to the nature of the system - irresponsible.

ill echo and agree with most of the comments here
with but a single but to add.... what to do if your not happy with the trade but dont want to go through the hassel of fighting over who said what and what didnt happen?
i have a deal in the recent past that was a total bust for me i got what i was supposed to get just not in the condition i was told they would be in regardless i never left feedback for this trader nor would i trade with him again
now granted i hope this is a rare case but thats pretty much the only reason why i dont leave someone feedback unless i simply have forgotten about it due to high number of trades

DZ,
In a situation like that I would recommend leaving neutral feedback, and would expect that if you had fulfilled your part of the deal you'd get a positive feedback.
Even a neutral-for-neutral can be retaliatory, but people need to know how traders operate.

When is a good time to gently nudge them reminding them they haven't left feedback? 1 week? 2 weeks? For me it's only been 4 days so I am not impatient, I just saw this thread and thought I would ask for some *ahem* feedback on my query.
