Not receving email notifications on receipt of PM's.

So I checked the setting in my preferences and have the receive email on message notification checked as yes, yet I have received about 6 private messages with no emails to my inbox. They are not in my spam box either. Not sure if this is a common problem but it was working until a few days ago and I do have a couple trades in the work that would help to have these emails.

Did you check your spam folder and who is your email provider?

Yes, yahoo. They were not in there, thought I said that. They were going in there before but I would promptly move them out and then I just started not receiving them at all.

Looks like google is doing the same. I logged in with 2 undead PM's and nothin in my inbox or spam folder.
I'm sure plarz will give us some insight when he can.
Until then, have to sit tight and enjoy the weekend

yeah I think there is something going on... I am noticing my pm's are only getting read when the people eventually come on and then see them... I am thinking the emails are not join out properly

Okay, this makes it sound like you might not know how PMs work. PMs only leave your outbox when someone reads them. This is much different than e-mail notifications being sent and received.

I'm not getting emails for topics I'm subscribed to, like the painting contest.
I have yahoo also.

Tonight I actually got a notification but it went to my Spam folder. So I unflagged it - We shall see if I get more.
Can someone PM me to test it out?

Works. For some reason though i am still missing PM notifications from the other day.
Possibly due to a busy server? Who knows. What I do know is I am getting them now.

mine was in my gmail junk folder... but was not even flaged as junk mail...

I just got a message at ~6:45pm tonight and still no email in spam or inbox.

I'll jump in as well, I received 2 PMs over the weekend with nothing in my Gmail inbox, but they were in my spam. Along with these were several other emails that usually hit my inbox.
It may be something more on Gmail's end then on BTown

I didn't get an email saying that this topic was updated and I am subscribed to it.
