So for the last few weeks all of a sudden I no longer receive emails when I have a PM. I checked my options and everything seems fine and also Bartertown doesnt seemed to be blocked from my hotmail account. What is happening? Could I get help please? Thnks!

There have been no recent changes to the forum, so my knee-jerk reaction is that it has something to do with Yahoo / Hotmail, not us.

I also see no issues in the forum logs that would indicate an issue with the email system. We've been error free since Wed Nov 06, 2013 at 6:39 pm.

The usual questions:
Have you checked your spam folders?
Is the [admin @ bartertown dot com] address added to your contacts list?
Are you getting notifications for responses to subscribed topics?

If you want to test that you can receive email from the server, please reply to a notification email you've received in the past saying that you want to confirm email functionality. If you can't find an old notification, send an email (to the [admin @ bartertown dot com] account) and be sure to mention your username.

I'll reply in 24 hours, or post here if I get a bounce-back.

Mail rejected by Outlook.com for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your Email/Internet Service Provider for help

There is nothing you can do, this is entirely up to Yahoo and Hotmail

Plarz, I know you've tried to get us off the blacklist. Is there anyone HE can contact, as a hotmail user, to try to persuade them?

Yes, but you're far better off using the Tapatalk app, than using your e-mail. Especially if you aren't receiving e-mails.
