How to tell if I have sent a message

Hi I have sent a pm to someone and they have not responded how can I tell I sent the pm ?

If the message is in the Sent box, it has been read.. if it is still in your Outbox, it has NOT been read.

Well if it's sitting in your outbox then yes it has been sent they just haven't read it yet. When the other person reads your message it will go from your outbox to your sent box.
