Recover Deleted Messages?

Is there a way to recover messages I deleted?

I did not realize once I deleted a message it removed it from the chain, that is so weird. You basically have to keep a huge string of messages?

I deleted some posts from a guy I was doing a trade with, how can I get them back?

Unless you can get the guy to "Quote" the message back to you, it's gone.

Try checking your sent messages. I'll delete stuff out of my inbox to keep it clean, but never clean out my sent. It tends to have a lot of things you wouldn't think you had otherwise.

You can often see the history on those ones as well.

You're right that those folders can be valuable. For the record, though, Sent Messages only show PMs you sent. The only history that will show is the history that the user has not deleted.

Mechanically, they're gone, FOR YOU. If the recipient still has the message in their inbox, it's technically recoverable, just at great time and expense.

Like, take me out to dinner and a movie and show me a good time, expensive. ;)

If both you and the recipient have deleted it, it's likely gone.
