Trading a laptop for 40K?

I have a pretty decent laptop I bought about 6 months ago. 17.9 Inch screen, beats audio, blue ray player ect. I know the person would probably need specs, I paid about 1200 for it in September and was wondering what I could reasonably expect in trade if I wanted NIB or assembled only models. I would love to trade it for a whole army

I find selling computers, especially laptops is hard on the internet (not saying it can't be done). Specs would need to be discussed, whether it had original discs, not to mention how well the battery hold ups, how clean the fans are, how much "wear and tear" was on the keyboard/mouse pad (I've seen some pretty beaten keys before) and overall condition of the case, whether it had been opened up and worked on (an unfortunate friend of mine installed some graphic cards without first grounding himself and wondered why his computer started having issues). The retail value drops after purchase for laptops (kind of like cars), the more a user uses it the less they can expect in the long run, 6 months ago could mean anything in regards to how well it was kept, how well you ran the computer/cleaned it up. I've seen some laptops run into the ground in months because users were unable to take care of them. Also for some reason brand names matter too, I myself am a fan of Asus (Republic of Gamers FTW lol) but I know some people who would drop loads of cash for Alienware (even though it's essentially a Dell computer with an Alien on it).
However that being said I am sure the laptop is in good order

, I wouldn't probably ask retail myself but I'm sure you could get a fairly sized army or NIB items for it, I would just make a topic listing the specs of the laptop and condition, maybe some pictures and a list of what you want and I'm sure people would PM you offers.
Good luck!

Thanks. I amended my post from a couple of weeks ago with the specs, and as soon as I can open a new one I will.

Its in great condition, decent specs, and is a beast.
