Bumping a thread or make a new one?

Hey I have a thread that I made awhile back (couple of weeks) and was wondering if there was a way to bump it or if I just have to make a new one since it has been pushed down by other posts.

Thanks.

If you are talking about a trade thread, and it has been 1 week since you posted it, make a new thread.

Yep make a new one. Bumping is pretty much a no/no. Look at the rules for a full explenation.

If you have hit your time limit (7 days for most or 4 for BT+ members), you can post an update (which acts as a bump) to your old thread OR start a new one.
It's largely realized to be better just to start a new thread, though. "Bumping" a thread here doesn't bring it to the top of the forums. The only people likely to see your update are those who have their settings set to show them all new posts, rather than the default setting that most of us use.

I hope this helps.
