Rule 13 clarification

"Rule #13: Ad Posting & "Post Bumping"
Please note that Bartertown users are limited to one topic/ad per forum per seven calendar days.
For those of you who don't understand this: Look at a calendar. If I post an ad on 3 July in the 40k forum I may not repost an ad to that forum until 10 July. That is seven calendar days. It's a legal term."

I posted last Thursday some Star Wars 4 inch figures in the forum collectibles for sale. I have other things to move and to be fair to the 3 gaming sites I go to they are going to EBAY. Id like to post a link here so all of BT can see them. Of course the sale would only go through EBAY as to not break other rules. Looking at rule 13 the words 'per forum' to me mean I can post in BT's EBAY listings forum as I posted my SW items in the collecibles forum. It dosent say 'per site'.

I know waiting the 2 last days to allow the 7 day thing to pass dosent seem all that big but with a child on the way I have to get moving.

Thanks,

Jason

That's correct. If you're selling items on feebay, then you ABSOLUTELY can post an ad in our Auctions forum.
If the items you listed elsewhere are moving to feebay, as well, you might find it in your best interest to edit the OP on those ads and indicate that they're no longer available via BTown.
Don't include a link to the feebay ad or the post in the Auctions Forum, though, as that would be like listing a feebay item in the Collectibles forum.

That help?

Eric

of course i will edit the OP to say they have gone to ebay. i wont *B*U*M*P* my add when an edit is called for.

I think what he is saying is that your ad in the forum link should not include a link directly to feebay auction or a link to your ad in the auction forum.

I think MM means to say is edit the original ads to say they are no longer available, and not to leave links in the original ads to the new ad in the auction forum or the eBay ad. The Auction ad can have a link to the eBay ad, but the other ads cannot.
