What money?
Any money you exchange as part of a trade never goes through our hands. It goes straight from one person to the other. PayPal might get a cut, but that's it.
Bartertown is free to use for any personal member. Businesses (or people acting in a similar fashion - commission painters, etc.) have to pay to advertise with us (which is what keeps the site free for you... so throw some of your money their way), and we have a "Bartertown Plus" program for members who want to support the site voluntarily (that money goes to hardware upgrades), but that's it.
