I have a number of duplicate White Dwarf magazines that I would love to trade for ones that I am missing or buy/sell. Unfortunately White and Dwarf are not searchable terms on here because they're too common, so I used Google and saw that someone has asked something very similar: viewtopic.php?f=40&t=113714 <- but I don't know what the solution was. I see that someone posted White Dwarf Wants in Misc Fantasy - is that the right forum?

Also is Bartertown even the best place for this? I won't want to constantly post about WD issues I still want or duplicates I still have. Should I have a link to my master list and have that in my signature/profile and just make one post?

They should be in Comics/Books. All books and book-like materials go there.
You can definitely link a master list in your profile, like in your sig line, but Bartertown requires that any post you place specifically for the purpose of trading actually list the items you have and want.
For example, you can't do this:

You would have to copy/paste the list from your link into the ad that you're posting for the specific purpose of trading WD's.

The reason for this is because we've had issues in the past where people agreed to a trade here for items listed on someone's own web page. Basically, their ad was the equivalent of my [ quote] above. The trade ended up in dispute over... something (it's been a long time), but we couldn't get a good grip on the entirety of the issue because the list, as it had been, was no longer on the original site. If the list would have been hosted here, we couls have gone back and dug up the original list if we REALLY needed to.
(I say "REALLY needed to" because it involves a LOT of work on the owner's part and he's not likely to do it for anything short of a legal necessity - So, don't get any ideas, everyone! LOL).
