What to do?

What is the proper amount of time to wait before posting that someone is a bad trader? I have sent out 2 armies to 2 different people that recieved them last week. I know because I got tracking numbers for both. Now its a week and a half later. One army is on the way and the other one hasn't been shipped yet. Also the one that has been shipped didn't have a tracking number so I don't know if its actually been shipped or not. I realize that I have the lower rating and the unofficial rule is that I ship first. I did that and provided tracking numbers.

Am I freaking out for no reason or should I be concerned?

Two weeks is about when I start wondering. Sooner if they don't answer PMs.

...unless they aren't in the US. Overseas mail CAN be really slow for all sorts of reasons.

And also take into account the severe weather the Midwest US has been having. That can cause delays, but hopefully the lines of communication stay open. When people stop replying to PMs that is greater cause for concern,

also.. how much higher were the other traders? 4-10 points? or.. 50? I would cut more slack the higher the rating is.

Also.. where are you posting from/to? If you can put your location in the UCP, it would help a bit.

I traded with this fellow and there were other concerns in his life.however it has been a month and I have never received what I traded for in the first place. I understand that being new you send your trade first. I was given a tracking number that does not work as well. As for the other person I traded with I paid upfront which was a mistake because now I am getting no responses from my pms and looks like I am out what I traded. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but its when people does stuff like this that it makes it extremely hard to trade on sites such as this.

Good day,

I would highly suggest reading these posts: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=103202 & viewtopic.php?f=34&t=71 before posting your BTR - just to make sure you do it in an appropriate manner.

Thank you,
