How Best to Sell Items for Multiple Systems

Just looking for a bit of clarity really. I have a bunch of stuff for sale across several game systems; I was wondering what the best approach to listing this all might be?

Given that there's a limit of one new thread per forum per week, my planned approach would be to create a thread in each relevant forum with just the items for that game system listed. However, when reading the forum rules it looks like cross-posting (i.e. one big listing duplicated in each forum) is the preferred option. What is the 'done thing' around here? Is it bad etiquette to post a seperate thread in each relevant forum?

Thanks in advance, and apologies if this has already been answered; I couldn't find anything with a forum search.

As long as your ad has items that are relevant to that trade forum, you are fine to post in it.

Example: An ad with WHFB, WH40k, Bits, comics, video games , and terrain items could be put in the WH40k, WHFB, Bits and Parts, Comics/Books for Sale, and Video and Board games forums.

Yup, cross posting is fine.

Some specifics people do:
link to their cross-posts (for instance, if you're posting in board games , you might have a notice in it that says "click this link to see my 40k stuff")
list the same post in each relevant section (the easiest and fastest if you're regularly trading)
stagger the posts in different sections, so they come up at different intervals (more likely to be seen by less active users)

Just remember that -per the openly posted rules (which I suggest you read, as "ignorance of the rules" is not an accepted defense for violating them)- *ALL* Auction ads MUST go in the auction forum (ONLY).
