trying to update email

Ok. I'm trying to update my email address to a new one since Comcrap decided to do an old account purge and nuked my original email which this was linked to which was from our California account.

I'm getting an error every time I try to update "This email does not have a valid MX record". I'm trying to set to both my second comcast email (from my old man's illinois account) and my Yahoo and is failing both ways.

I do not think you can change your email as your refs are linked some how to the email you signed up with,if you change your email it will drop your refs or something like that.

That is not true. There should be no issue changing your email address.
The only problems you may have are if the email addresses have ever been used before. BTown only allows an email address to be attached to one account.

As I'm CERTAIN you're not multi-accounting, that shouldn't be the issue.
