How much is a 1st edition twin linked lascannon top on a 2nd edition body worth? I have one and a guy at a tournament told me it was worth a lot.

I have a picture

Hard to say--is the turret a conversion?

It's metal, the guy said it was a different attachment that you could buy separate from the predator. I bought this stuff 4-5 years ago and this is just how it came.

It's only worth what you can get for it.
The guy you were talking to probably presumed that "oop" automatically means $$valuable$$. That is not always the case.

I, for example, wouldn't be interested if you were giving it away.

Eric speaks the truth.

If you can find someone who like the RTT era stuff, or is doing themed army, (like Pre-heresy), then you are gold. Otherwise most people want the most current model, so everything in their army matches.

Of course finding that buyer is what site like Bartertown and E-bay are for ;)

It looks like a conversion to me. I used to have one of both versions of the old old preds. Nothing is worth more than what someone is willing to pay for it as has already been mentioned. Offhand, since it has been converted, I doubt that even a collector will pay much for it.

Not a conversion.

Here is the sprue from 1991: http://www.solegends.com/citcat911/c2028predator.htm

Nm, these are the two I had. Did not know that they had made this other one.
My first one was this one and it did not come with the sprue you showed.

My second one was the one with the old rhino chassis and the rounded dome metal top with twin las cannons.
Somehow, I missed seeing that other one when it came out. Or what is MORE likely, I saw it and forgot all about it in my old age. Either way, my bad.
Even with it not being a conversion, I still would not expect a lot for it as it is assembled and painted. that devalues it a lot. Now, if it was new on sprue or even better yet, still shrink wrapped, THEN youd have something.
