I've sent some PMs to BTown members. Some of these messages are placed in my Sent Messages folder. Some of them go to the Outbox and are apparently marked as new or unread.

What is the difference? Are my messages actually getting sent?

They go to the outbox until the recipient reads the PM, then they go to the Sent Messages.

So...

Outbox - unread messages
Sent Messages - read messages
