Whenever I try to send a PM I get the message "The requested users to be added do not exist"
This is after clicking the PM button under the persons avatar and I have not tried to add anyone else could you please help me thanks

I am thinking it may be a spelling error. Or spacing? Try it a few different ways.

Even after trying to reply to a PM I recived about this thread just hitting the reply button no typing in the name I get the same error message

When you set up your bartertown account, did you change from the default skin for the site to one of the other options? I had done that when I set up my account ages ago and it messed up a few things. Try ensuring that everything is set to default values in your options, and see if that helps.

Edit: Maybe that option is gone these days, I couldn't find it when I looked.. it was quite a while ago

I believe he means the user who's references you are trying to check.

I mean someone PM'd me to ask me to tell them the names of the people who I tried to PM originally I hit the reply button to try and tell them the names of the people and I ended up with the same error message

Have you tried it on a different browser? Maybe an extension, adblock or noscript or something is interfering with the process of copying their name into the form on the next page... Try downloading Chrome or something and see if that helps?

some of them have to be run on compatability mode.

No I tried with IE Firefox and Chrome I am using vista

made sure IE is the most current version..

then try using the compatibility mode if it's available.

I mainly use Firefox but both IE and Firefox are updated

To Ironhide I received your PM but I could not respond It gave me an error message saying that the user I am trying to message does not exist

Hm. An admin will have to look into this.
