I'm not really sure where to post this since it's not really a trade I don't want to put it in the trade section. It's not actually discussion either so I'm just sticking it here.

What is the going rate for the various GW transfer sheets?? I have a bunch that I'd like to organize and sell off but I don't know what they are worth or if certain ones are rarer and more valuable than others. Does anybody have an idea??? I also havea bunch of the various banners for tanks, heroes, cavalry, etc if anybody knows a value on them. Thanks for any help you can provide. Jay

PS I checked Ebay but the prices seem to be all over the place on some of them.

I didn't look in advance, but your best bet would be to check completed feebay auctions.
I honestly don't think there's much of a market for them, but have been known to be wrong on occasion.

I picked up an older White Dwarf that has a great article on Space Marine custom chapters and coversions. They showed fantasy transfers being used as chapter insignias, and I thought it was a really cool idea. Maybe put pics in your ad and make this suggestion- you might have an easier time selling/trading them?

I too have accumulated a huge amount of them over the years. As already suggested, they can be transferred from genra to genra, used on other toys just to make them look cool. Heck, I put some on a concrete gargoyle (the big yard jobs) to give it cool "tattoos". You can also use them as "kill markings" on your units by putting an "enemy" insignia on your tank and then painting a big red slash over it.
Having considered selling first and then finding these other uses I decided to keep them. Then I found it helpfull to give sheets of them to people starting the hobby or building armies. They are usually VERY appreciative and will likely remember you someday if they have a bit or two you may need down the line.
These things are far more rewarding then the pocket change you might get from a large ammount of them.

I tend to give mine away for free to folks who are looking for them. I'm a freehand man myself, so I have no real use for them. However, some of the transfer sheets are a tad more valuable than others. Older sheets, or those with a limited number of decals, are more useful. Sisters of battle and Inquisition sheets are in demand, but Marine ones, not so much.
