Approximate Retail For Confrontation Devourers

Post by jesters89 »

Hey folks,

I'm looking to trade/sell off some of my metal confrontation figures. When Rackham went insane and stopped supporting the game using their metal miniatures I stopped following the company. Now that I'm looking to trade them away, it would be helpful to know what they retailed for. Any of you familiar enough with the Rackham line to help me with pricing this lot? Thanks either way.

Voracious Warriors x2 (both sculpts)

Maurader of Vil-Tis/Fang of Vil-Tis box (5 models with 3 cards)

Headhunters x2 (both sculpts)

Velrys, Prince of the Impure

Flesheater

I also have several additional cards including the Devourer's deck

Thanks for any help with this.

Jeremy

Sorry to say, but the stuff you've got is all pretty common. The Devourers I usually see get marked up are the half-elves and you've only got Velrys. Velrys was, and still is, the easiest of the half-elves to find. As such, I'd say you'd be looking at regular retail value or a little less if the models are NIB. (Except for the head hunters. They were ALWAYS in bargain bins and as such I wouldn't expect much. No one ever bought them.) Then again, if there's someone desperate for those minis you might get lucky.

HZ.. I think he wants to know what they originally retailled for, so he can price em accordingly.. not what they might fetch now.

I wish I could help.. I never played that game and don't even know what those things look like.. lol

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

If you don't have your Location listed in your User Control Panel, why not take a second and update it? It will let your trading partners know where you are from the beginning.

I use the Unofficial Porkuslime Trading Guidelines - if you have way less refs.. you ship first.

Folks I am awaiting a ref from.. Zack

Ahh...my miss. Well, the info I already posted will give you an idea of what you can expect as far as offers.

If I RECALL the prices were something like this:

Marauders of Vile-Tis box - $50~$55

Voracious Warrior blister (contained 2 figs, there were two variant blisters for a total of 4 sculpts) - $20

Headhunters (one per blister) - $14

Velrys - $12

Those are the ones I think I remember. If not exactly correct they should be in the ballpark. I can't remember the old Flesh Eaters that were out before the box set.

HZ's appraisals are in the right range. I would also recommend looking at eBay to see what the minis are selling for. Peruse the auction listings for a couple of weeks to get a good idea of the current selling prices.
