so i was on my mobile phone and tried to check my btown pms and got a message saying and i quote:

You have been PEMANETLY banned from this board.
Please contact board administratior for more information.
Reason given for ban: Milti-accountinh & scamming. Disagree? Email XXXXX
a ban has been issued on your ip address.

yes, sir, i do disagree.

Then how are you able to post?

that sir, is one of the questions of the hour? im assuming at this point my phone ip was banned by not my home ip

As i discussed with Imp in private, I think it was a hiccup with your cell service. They probably use DHCP, and the IP you got tagged with at the time was banned from some previous user/ spammer

Don't worry about it. It's no reflection on you.

I'm sorry you have to go through that. Unfortunately, scamming and multi-accounting a-holes make it harder for all of us.

I had the same message yesterday, on my blackberry.

It's a simple IP issue.

just to add a quick reply.

1) thanks for the overwhelming and quick support from the greens and reds.

2) it happened to me a couple more times, i just wait a minute and my phone will let me in. if i do however find out who used the ip to scam and they are within reach, im going to donkey punch them.

yes MM, yes you can. but there is a lot of mikes around here so me finding which one it is will be a pain at the very least ill do some digging and smear his name as a scammer and two timer. sadly i dont get/have much love for my local crew and have gotten to the point i game at home with a few close buddies
