Convertable square/round bases for Daemons?

So I've recently gotten my local gaming scene into 40k and now I want my Fantasy Daemon army to be usable in both games (especially for Apocalypse).
I'm absolutely positive I'm not the only person who would like this functionality.

Is there some company out there that makes some sort of magnetic bases that can be (I'm guessing round) and then dropped into premade slots on a movement tray or put into a square base somehow? The little guys seem like they would be pretty simple (though if someone has already made them I would gladly purchase them rather then make my own), it's the Greater Daemons and Bloodcrushers I'm challenged by.

Any links or ideas?

Thanks!

in all honesty you can just keep the daemons on the square bases as the 40k rules say that you have to base them on whatever base they come with and as they come with both then its kosher to base them on square and as fantasy is really the game which needs specifically the square type.

If you really want to change the big ones out you will come to the problem of the radius of the circle being the same or extremely close to the square ones.

please note that the reason i say they should be good in both games is because all of the daemons boxes come with both types and other 40k units do not.

war of the rings movement trays might work for you. if you kept them on round that is

i don't know the spacing on them though. might not work

I'm not so sure on the square bases being legal cause the minis come with both. Any TO's here have experience with this?

Good call on the War of the Ring movement trays, too bad they come in 4 x 2 formations but I can work with that.

After some research it looks like the 40K big guys are on 60mm rounds and the Fantasy big guys on 50mm square, so I think I could make something out of Greenstuff or whatever to work that out.

The beasts of nurgle and nurgling bases though are both 40mm whether round or square, I think I'd have to leave those on square and hope a TO wouldn't call me on it.

Does anyone know what kind of bases Screamers are on in 40k? Mine all have the square bases underneath a flying rod now. Are they supposed to be on the clear round flying bases?

Well i kinda am a TO at a lgs, not that it makes me the total rules dude in the world in fact it means absolutely nothing past my store door. However i personally feel that as long as the bases have at least the same area of whatever the model is then its OK, bigger is always more kosher then smaller. I read the book about bases and it doesn't classify the bases as requiring square or round just whatever it came with. I mean some older 40k stuff was on square and cav bases are rectangular with sharp edges.

with all the bigger small square base i believe they are bigger then a circle base so are good in my eyes. If the larger ones are smaller then yes build up a suitable sized sleeve like thing for the correct sized circle base.

the nurgling bases are fine in both games as square in my eyes at least.

screamers are on clear plastic flying stands tho Ive seen them on Calvary bases so they can actually be based well with them big tails that they have

but just go ask your TO or store dude (or chick?) that runs stuff, they should be more then happy to tell you how theyed like it so they do not have to surprise you the day of the tournament and make you bent

Kind of backwards for what you want, but if you are willing to switch to round bases, here is an option to be able to use them in Fantasy.
