PM frequency and requesting feedback.

Alright, another question for everyone.
I've had several trades late where the feedback was a bit delayed. I sent 2 people some reminders and went ahead and posted a positive reference for them. Neither responded at first, so I waited a few days and sent another PM politely reminding them after I realized my low feedback was affecting my ability to trade.
One person created a "good trader" post in the Good Trader forum, which is awesome..though I do want it to be on my permanent record, so I sent him a another PM, guiding him in the right direction.
The other person still hasn't responded to PM's or posted any feedback. I asked how everything was on his end with the trade and if there was anything I could've done better, so I would think if there was something I did wrong, the person would let me know. I know he's read both my messages and I see him on Bartertown pretty often, so it kinda bothers me that he hasn't responded or left feedback. I really want to be a good trader and I'm a bit nervous about screwing something up or pissing someone off. That, and I really dislike being ignored.
So my question is twofold
1. How much should I worry about people not leaving feedback?
2. How often can I remind them without being a huge hassle or pain in the rear?
I talked to PorkuSlime the other day and he told me that he leaves a list in sig that shows people who haven't left him feedback. He says it works really well and only one person in his entire trading history didn't leave feedback for him.
Also, I would like to know what's a good amount of time to give people to respond to your Pm's in general. On one hand I don't want to be a pain, but on the other hand I don't want to miss out on some good deals, and I've seen things disappear out from under my nose because someone got a good offer while I was giving them ample time when they were otherwise occupied.
